Is the summer already mid-swing?

glitch25I keep wanting to write more here, but the ranty bits need to be said to an audience that would benefit hearing it rather than the proverbial choir. The other bits I seem to be having trouble bringing together into coherent thought.
On the whole, things go pretty well. Most things are stable and for the moment, solid. I appreciate this for the fact that I am blessed with being the solid thing for others right now. I'm glad I'm in a place where I can offer that. I appreciate helping others and returning on the kindness others have shown me. And I'm continuing to learn what that means and learning how to do my best.
In other news, I got to take my new-to-me drums on stage recently (thank you Jon!) and had fun playing under the trees in Redmond with lots of great people. I have a lot to learn yet, and I'm still building my kit and finding ways to contribute, but I am happy I can contribute, that I am being requested! and that I'm getting opportunity to stretch that muscle. It is fun!!
