But some of my introductions to music come from movie soundtracks.

Such as Mirror in the Bathroom by The English Beat.

EDIT: That's not true. I don't hide the fact that I love movies, and who am I to deny the greatness that can be a movie soundtrack?

So... I realize I'm probably a minority on watching this show, but did anybody else see the Series finale for Big Love and go, "Whoa..."?

Loved the musical tie-in to the earlier theme song.. and the fact that it made the lyrics rather poignant.

Boy.. today was expensive, but productive.

My poor truckie developed a lit check-engine light and I got it to the dealer today to take a peek at it. Nothing too major, but still not cheap. All better now.

Also got the cats in to the vet for what will return as an annual tradition. I've been pretty bad about that sort of thing, but generally, they are full-time indoor cats, and short of something serious, I haven't really had reason to do it. Nevertheless, I probably should make the effort and plan accordingly. That said, my reason for today was the fact that we've been fighting a flea infestation that won't let go.

Along those lines, http://www.lakemontvillagevet.com/ is an awesome vet. They are extremely caring, thorough, talented, and friendly. They always have the pet's interest at heart, and are willing to work with owners to make everything right. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nathan and Dr. Sara if you're on the east side and maybe in the far east Bellevue/Issaquah area.

And now, dinner, sitting on my butt for a bit, and maybe work.. cuz... we're a little nuts busy round here.
