Mar. 6th, 2011 05:54 pmMade my first visit to The Bravern in Bellevue. I used to think Lincoln Square was snooty. They have NOTHING on The Bravern. Fortunately I was on a very specific mission, and the shop I stopped for was really nice. But the whole experience did remind me of the previous job where I was helping maintain the multi-million dollar condo at One Lincoln Tower. Could have entertained a certain cast party with room to spare in that place. And thats just the living-room and the kitchen. Doesn't include the study, two bedrooms or the gym.
In other news, I'm working on a teriyaki marinated pork tenderloin with parsnip and turnip puree. And maybe a steamed veg.. I have some broccoli in the fridge from the CSA box that needs loving.
And we're watching the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables. Can't say I've followed it, so other than really beautiful singing, wonderful costumes, sets, and stage handling, I can't say it does much more than that for me. Need to read it, methinks. :-)
And if the cat gets any friendlier tonight, he's gonna perch on the top of my head. Right now he's sneaking up my chest inch at a time.
