YAY! Alegria is coming!!!

I know I posted about this long ago when pre-sale tickets were on sale, but I thought I'd remind folks that Cirque is back for another show this year. They are bringing their arena version of Alegria to the Tacoma Dome the 15th through the 19th.

This has thus far been one of my all-time favorites, and I highly recommend it if you can go.

I've been reading reviews from other spots on the tour, and it sounds like their bringing along a few of the familiar cast members.

Yuri Medvedev (http://www.flickr.com/photos/candecande/2407581887/), for whose character my icon is based, is back again. His heart-wrenching and yet hilarious performance was one of the highlights for me when I saw Alegria the first time, and I'm thrilled to be sharing it again this time.

We just picked up a copy of The Full Monty. I've never seen it save a few scenes. I'm now realizing this is likely to put a fun spin on Stargate Universe for me. :-)
