*waves* I still check DW fka LJ every few days (daily when my laptop's not frizzing out). Meanwhile, I'm leery of shifting to yet another social media platform.
Why Mastodon? I know at least one person who's chosen it to replace Twitter, but since I didn't really use Twitter (though still deleted my account a while ago), I'm not sure of its value. Do you feel Mastodon will replace DW/LJ for you, or possibly replace FB? Anyway, thanks for the link to FAQ equivalent, as otherwise I felt I had nowhere to start.
