Was nice to feel some true down-time this weekend. Had no specific obligations and got to enjoy the veg time.

Friday I spent some more time beating up my Android phone. Having successfully got Eclair working, I opted to try a build of Froyo, and I was blown away (at first). I knew to expect some stability issues, but I've also heard that between the two versions, there was a lot of efficiency written in, and true to form, Froyo was very very snappy and quick compared to Eclair. Alas, I quickly found out that it wasn't too stable and my phone spontaneously rebooted twice, along with some other snags. Pity, but neat nevertheless. Rolled it back to Eclair and have been much more stable. Hopefully future builds will be nicer. We'll see.

Saturday was more vegging and a little bit of cleaning. Still sorting through tools and fabric scraps and any number of things used to make a certain book, book stands, banners, carts, and things. :-) Also managed to get photos of the Not-So-Little little red book up on my facebook page. I'll put them up on picasa and link here tonight. Had a fun time building it, and really glad how well it worked out.

That afternoon/evening, I headed to Horizon Oasis with [livejournal.com profile] vixenesque93 for Gnostic Mass. Was nice to reconnect, even though it was a small crowd. Good mass, good fellowship, and a lot of wine. :-)

Loved the rain that night. And over to the morning. Pleased me a lot. :-)

Sunday I did a little more shuffling with stuff at the house, and a lot of doting on Scsi. I don't think she misses Burns in the sense that she had any affection for him (they've never been close), but I know she misses his presence, and is having difficulties flying solo. I suspect this means we'll have to find her another companion soon. I'm holding out for a bit to see how she adjusts. So far, her Siamese roots (buried in there somewhere) keep her howling at nobody in particular as she wanders the house. She's not exactly young either, and I've long suspected a touch of senility since she often loses us in the house (forgets where we are, and calls to us from the other room). So I'm sure losing Burns is further muddling her addled kitty brain. We'll see how it goes.

Today so far is mellow. No complaints.
