Looking for something better...

glitch25The more I weigh the pros and cons of using Facebook, the more I want to dump it, and dump it hard.
Facebook strives to, among other things, pull various resources together to make it easier to keep up with friends... you can post short updates, full posts, post pictures, play games, send private messages, and various other things. Of course, we could all do all of that before. We just needed several unrelated unattached sites.
It's that pulling together thing that has created all manner of problems and issues.
As much as I like the ease of use for the things I do like on Facebook, I find myself repeatedly disappointed with how they handle things. I just don't enjoy it anymore.
So as such, even knowing the things I will lose, I'm going to cut my account loose, and go back to my usual means of communication. Once I notify those that keep up with me that aren't you guys, I'll navigate the maze of crap and at least disable it, if not outright delete it.
Those of you here already know how to get a hold of me. One way or t'other. Others, I'll notify as I see fit.
