If I'm gonna use this thing instead of my Facebook account (or in conjunction with other things to replace Facebook, I suppose I should post something. :-)

I'm working on a place to host photos, and will probably do short type posts on twitter. @glitch2500 if you are so inclined. Instagram too. Same username. Both locked, but if I know ya, we can work it out if we haven't already.

I am becoming interested in the idea of writing real letters to keep in touch. Think I might have to give that a go. If you are interested, feel free to message me a good mailing address for you.

I am somewhat disenchanted with Facebook myself, I read and sometimes comment there, but do not feel like sharing.
As you can see I lately also have not felt much like sharing here...
I am looking forward to read from you here and hope that your choices will make you happy.

Hmm, real letters are actually pretty cool. But I do not know if this would be feasible ;-)

Welcome back. The water's fine. I was just thinking today of the importance of once again taking pen in hand to communicate with fewer people in depth rather than more people more broadly/shallowly ala FB.

It feels like a bit of a romantic notion, but I want to see if I can persist. I'm pretty bad at it, tbh. But I'll never get better by not doing it. :-)
