Bleah
I feel like I'm still recovering from our trip down south. It has been a struggle to accomplish anything useful the past several days. I've been accomplishing "overweight couch-potato" with great strides and success. Alas, that is one success I think I can do without.
Once ROM is in the proverbial can, the plan is to get back on the workout horse and get a little more serious (and varied) with my daily exercise. At this point, I'm less about weight loss and more about building wind. I figure the rest will come. I'm just tired of getting so easily winded.
The plan then is to unstick the stuck carousel and see what else is up. Spending more time on RoM props has upped some of my wood-working confidence, and I have a few projects in mind as a result. :-) I've also been itching to break open the bread book again. So more from that. My cooking blog has suffered a bit, but I'm also reaching that point where day-to-day cooking is no longer interesting enough to post on it, so I need to branch out a little bit and then I'll have more fodder. I also scheduled a few workdays off in October to just spend some time with me, and maybe hit up some of the city and find myself in my own personal adventure. That and I'm planning a date with Dreamclinic. :-)
Other small projects too numerous to mention.. (ok.. I'm too lazy to write them all down right now, but I will eventually if just to rip them out of my mind and into the real world)
And winter prep. Which reminds me, I never did buy chains for the truck and really need to do that. Along with some maintenance. In spite of the gas, I've been pleased with it. It has served me well so far, and I know it will continue to do so. I have diabolical technological plans for it as well including temporary upgrades to the sound system that will yield to drool-worthy things in the future. And basic other stuff including keyless entry, more off-road friendly accessories, and maybe a wench. EDIT: er... WINCH. yeah.. one of those things.
Winter prep will also include revamping our food storage and adding to it, along with a checking of the stoves and stocking up on non perishables. Need to inspect the kerosene heater as well, and probably replace the igniter batteries. Should be ok in the kerosene department. Not that I'm expecting a harsh winter, but I like to plan ahead.
So yeah.. busy busy. That and I have a costume to prepare for a certain upcoming holiday. This one will be a little more fun and interesting. I just hope enough people will catch the reference. :-)

But thank you for the spelling reminder. Some days, the brain don't work.
