Any thumbdrive port in a digital storm

Granted.. I'm not the average guy, but why is it when I see these, I think of the digital equivalent of a glory hole? Based on the comments, apparently I'm not alone. :-D

A very interesting idea ... but, please, people, use a short USB extension cord to connect, or those flash drives are going to be broken in no time.
