I think the closest I'll let myself get is sugars with a lower glycemic index.. Honey, for example. Or things sweetened with fruit juice. And even that I plan to be careful with.

I understand the struggle. I know if I wasn't careful, it would be a slippery slope back for me. I LOVE my sweets.. and I miss them dearly. But I also know this is better for me in the long run. Trying hard. :-)
